Originality Policy

AiPlatformers is built on independent makers earning from tools they created. Being first with an idea should be an advantage here, not a liability — so the platform records who published what first and screens new listings against the existing catalog.

A cloneis a tool that copies another maker's existing listing: near-identical concept, feature set, naming, or positioning, aimed at the audience the original defined. Clones are not allowed.

Competition is not cloning. Categories are open — many makers can sell focus timers or invoice tools. A tool with its own angle, feature mix, and identity is legitimate competition, and this policy does not restrict it.

Every new tool runs through an automated originality check comparing it against all other makers' live tools (including identical names and identical app links). Listings that look too similar are held — hidden from the public — until a human reviews them. The submitting maker sees which existing tools triggered the hold and can differentiate their listing or wait for review.

The first maker to publish a tool on AiPlatformers establishes priority for that tool on the platform. If a listing is found to be a clone — at review time or later via a report — we may remove it; repeated or bad-faith copying can lead to account suspension. Makers who believe their tool was copied can contact us with both listings and we will review.

This system is deterrence and provenance, not intellectual-property law: it can't stop determined bad actors outside the platform, and it doesn't grant legal ownership of an idea. Copyright in each tool's actual code and content remains with its maker automatically. What AiPlatformers provides is a timestamped record of who was first here, an automated screen against copying here, and enforcement of this policy here.
