Privacy Policy

Template notice: this document is a starting draft, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review it before relying on it — especially before charging money.
1. What we collect
Account data: your email, name, and a hash of your password (never the password itself). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account id, email, and name.
Marketplace data: your subscriptions, and — if you are a maker — your storefront and tool listings.
Payments:handled by Stripe. Card numbers never touch our servers; we store only Stripe's customer and subscription identifiers.
Security logs: IP addresses on auth attempts, kept briefly for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
2. How we use it
To run the marketplace: authenticate you, gate tool access to active subscribers, pay makers, prevent abuse, and send transactional email (such as password resets). We do not sell personal data and we do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies — the only cookie is the httpOnly session cookie that keeps you signed in.
3. Who we share it with
Service providers that host the platform and process payments on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), and our email provider for transactional messages. Each receives only what it needs to provide its service. When you launch a maker's tool, you leave AiPlatformers and that maker's own privacy practices apply.
4. Retention and your rights
Account data is kept while your account exists. You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time by contacting the email on the site; deletion removes your account, subscriptions, and — for makers — your storefront. Security logs expire automatically.
5. Changes and contact
Material changes to this policy will be announced on the site. For any privacy question or request, contact the founder via the email on the site.
